The movie wasn't thought out, slow and treated the audience as stupid. In the first movie Gates mother was considered dead, this movie she was divorced. This movie was made to just make money.

Absolutely ridiculous, asinine, and sleep-inducing. I walked out after I had eaten my popcorn -- about 30 minutes into the movie.

i liked this movie better then the first one. i didnt find it boring at all. i found a lot of parts cute and some funny. overall i liked the adventure in the movie the best. in the first one they basically stayed put in one place but in here they travel a bit more to pick up the clues to the puzzle.

I have never posted areview before. However after reading all of yours, i felt I had to. I can imagine that most of you walked into the movie expecting a big lebowski, or fargo. That's why you feel so negative, because this movie the coens went out of the circle. "I don't get it." Is the common phrase I have seen here. Well maybe you should pay attention, because the coens do a fantastic job in putting it out there for you. The point of the movie is that we are all in the mercy of time. The ending was fantastic,(DONT READ ON IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE MOVIE) and all of you were looking for the cookie cutter hero wins ending. It's called life, and you all should realize that. Listen to Tommy Lee Jone's lines in the last scene, and you realize that. If you can't...stick to anchorman and superbad, because those should fit your mindset.

not only is this movie a very great and entertaining movie for the whole family, but it also goes to show you that nicolas cage's agent find's him great roles to play! national treasure is to cage, what pirates of the carribean is to depp. it's their defining role, the only difference is i have never seen a bad nicolas cage movie, but depp? come on lets face it, without movies like pirates, or secrete window, most of depps movie's are a little on the strange side. which also proves another point, some acters like cage can actually act, while others like depp have to have a great movie to make them look good! dont get me wrong i like some of depp's work, but he will never be a cage!

Incredibly slow and boring....we sat down 3 times to MAKE ourselves finish watching this turkey....

Just like the first movie, this was awesome. I want to see it again and can't wait for it to come out on DVD

This movie does what I would expect movies to do, entertain. And for me it did just that, even without the nudie bedroom scene!! IMAGINE THAT!! Who cares about plausibility or logic as long as the story is good. This family movie was exactly what the brain needs in today's world of future shock...... fun in two hours of silliness. Keep such movies coming, Disney and Jerry B. Besides I now am curious as to what the rest of the book says. This movie was one of the best Christmas presents I have received.

If you like brainless entertainment, don't see this. You have to be able to think to enjoy this movie. It also helps if you've seen the first movie in the series. No one got up in the theater during the movie and it was almost full. Very entertaining.
