  • The melancholy attached to the impermanence of life and love suffuses this film, making it memorably haunting and hypnotic. show more

  • Never Let Me Go is gorgeous. And depressing. It's exquisitely acted. And depressing. It's romantic, profound and superbly crafted, shot with the self-contained radiance of a snow globe. And it's depressing. show more

  • Just as its characters need a reason to live, Go needs a reason for audiences to watch. Neither find much satisfaction. show more

The first time I watched it, it was very late at night, yet I could not stop. I was drawn into the characters. As the film proceeded, it was so emotionally compelling and I pondered as to the premise of the film. I felt sad that their purpose on this earth was to donate their vital organs and complete, I wondered why they Cathy and Tommy didn\'t just run away from this torment and begin their own lives, once they realized their life was a lie. The acting was superb, and music very sad as it intertwined with the story. I think this film is worth watching.Just to experience a really unusual film.

I felt the movie was very moving, a little slow for people who like alot of action though. Carey Mulligan was excellent, rent it, you won\'t regret it...
