The acting was alright but the story was a little flat. When we went to the theater I was entertained but never was interested with the whole storyline. I did like the imagination and how Gerard Butler played two roles. It was a pleasing film.

We showed this movie at our family movie night and everyone enjoyed it. I personally loved Jodi Foster and thought she did a marvelous job as the neurotic Alex Rover. I know I left the movie saying I wanted a flying lizzard! The animals were just wonderful. Great movie for all ages!

while i did enjoy it I felt that for the most part this is a kids movie. the overall plot teaches kids about being able to stand up for themselves when an adult is absent. which is a great message in itself. the only thing i found lacking was it didn't expand on Alex Rover's arrival on the Island. There was obvious disbelief and disappointment on Nim's part. Not to mention Jack's arrival back

I loved it ! We had no idea what to expect after reading some of the negative reviews- but it's a fantastic movie ! It's funny for both parents and kids . The movie keeps a great pace- wasn't bored one time . Highly recommended ! A
