I went to see this with two preteens and even they didn't find the tasteless fat jokes and stereotyped African American characters humorous for long. We all cam away diappointed in the extremely talented and versatile Eddie Murphy. No way this one gets anything more than two stars from me!

Loved this movie and I'm 14. It was great because it was meant to make you laugh, no lessons were to be learned, it's classic Eddie Murphy and it's my favorite movie this year. Just like Little Man and White Chicks by the Wayans, it was so stupid and crude, it was laughable. My fave by far, thanx for making me laugh Eddie!

Not sure why Eddie Murphy made this movie. He was "EXCELLENT" in Dreamgrils and this year he would have won the oscar. Why not wait to release this after Sunday, February 25th,2007. Eddie is very funny in the movie norbit showing his range of talent. what a gamble and it didn't payoff with the oscar. Next time Eddie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this was by far one of eddie murphy's best works of art~his triple role in this movie makes it undescribably funny~the audience had the time of their life and i sure had my share of laughs. the racist black/asian comments are very subtle and slip by so quickly some go unnoticed. YES there are some racy segments and crude humor but all around funny for the whole family//////MUCH better than the messengers, which i saw also

My 13 year old daughter went with her dad to see this, and they walked out after only a few minutes. They said the language was horrible and the sexual content was so bad that my daughter told her dad she wanted to leave, and she usually loves Eddie Murphy movies. what a disappointment !

From the previews, you would think that Norbit was funny, hilarious, and entertaining for adults, teens and childre, but after entering the movie and seeing the movie, I was appauled that he would use the scene of a church to curse and make mockery in the church. The previews were misleading because you would not have know he had cursed so much in the movie, and I would not have taken my children to see it. It's sad that you have to use curse words to make a good movie.

Too bad that Eddie hasn't matured a little more over the years. This movie was not funny and in bad taste. The name of Jesus is used in vain several times, and I would not even want my 13 y.o. daughter to see the way the "B" word is used continuously in reference to women, as well as the derogatory way that women are portrayed. Many children were in the theatre and I felt bad that they were exposed to the constant cursing and offensive gestures shown. What a disappointment.

How many actors can nail a single role none the less three roles in the same movie. Most of eddies skills are beyond what the eyes can see and people need to give him due credit
