I really enjoyed this movie. I had read the reviews before watching the movie just to see what the critics thought and they were disapponted, but I was pleasantly surprised. Only an audience(couples) that has truly experienced a test of their relationship would get the most from it and I am that audience

Hilarious! Taraji and Morris did a great job as did the entire cast. This movie offered more than I expected. I hope people support it. The trailer makes it look corny but it's much more interesting.

Critics don't "critique" they corrupt. They corrupt the thoughts of others and convince them NOT to see a movie/film. Note: critics usually attend a movie because they like a particular director nor producer; their criticism is no more valid than the average movie-goer. They are puffed-up with their own agenda (to corrupt the movie goer). Critics go to criticIse while the average movie-goer will attend for the purpose to enjoy. TWO DIFFERENT REASONS AND MINDSETS.

I enjoyed this movie - both the story line and the acting. It is very refreshing to see a positive movie. It's not about absence of problems, but the correct way to handle them.

I enjoyed "Not Easily Broken", the acting was excellent. Just when we had things figured out, the pendulum swung in a different direction. Morris & Tariji’s relationship was so relative & a learning lesson.

I agree with Car37ter. The white audience will never fully "get it." Their opinion is very stereotypical. They never thought Tyler Perry's movies would make it to the BIG SCREEN. Not only did they "make it" they also made there way into their homes via their children, etc. I will make my own desicion as i always do. Why do they even have critics? LOL

Most movie critics are not African-American, so therefore they can't see through the eyes of the African-American people, and as a consequence their VIEW and OPINION will always be stereotypical and negative when they critique a film. Most white critics have no knowledge of "black" anything, therefore they come with a tainted attitude, and then leave with the same attitude. The critics feel more comfortable when they believe they're right, and then they write their comments according to THEIR viewpoint. Sad, but true.

I usually do not agree with the critics (NY Times, Boston globe etc...) especially when it comes to "African American" movies. I will be the judge when I see it for myself.
