Absolutely enjoyed this film. A window into pianomaking, among other American handicrafts past its prime. ("Its hard to find a cabinetmaker out... re. They just don't exist.") Highlighted the individuals, the personalities, the tradition of creating a piano... Very valuable social commentary in a year when goods are disposable and people don't choose a job with the intention of making it a lifelong career. Full Review

The movie should have shown what makes Steinway special..parts/exclusive patents...also while at Steinway Hall..the 1st Steinway is right there &... ld have been featured. Full Review
