Most people, when faced with certain death, do not wish to die in a hospital setting, preferring the comfort of home. In the second of a series of four programs on the subject of death and dying, On Our Own Terms: Moyers on Dying, Vol. 2 - A Different Kind of Care, host Bill Moyers discusses the developments in palliative care at two institutions, Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. What they offer will bring a sense of peace to the terminally ill, ease the suffering of those in pain, and give support when it is most needed.
