One Day You'll Understand User Reviews

Stylistically it is very well filmed. A little slow for most American viewers but well worth the effort you put into the viewing. The performances are strong and carry great nuance in their emotional level, I thought. The storyline is rather different than than most other WWII stories and based on the director's personal experience. I was lucky enough to have viewed this with my film club and the amount of time we spent in discussion afterwards was amazing. I anticipate that I will continue to reflect upon this film for a while to come.
