A Mexican outlaw (Chris-Pin Martin) reveals that Sheriff Rankin isn't dead after all but held hostage at the gang's hideout. Jack rescues Rankin, captures the gang, and is revealed to be none other than the brother of Sheriff Rankin and is only pretending to be an outlaw.
