For those wondering about the ruby slippers and without giving too much away, what was the item of power that Mila's character used? think about how it could be used in the future to help out a powerless was an amazing journey and stood out in its own right as a great prequel!

A lot of hype and no delivery. The best scenes of the movie are in the trailer. Save your money.

The movie was fun and entertaining. Graphics and story was decent. I HIGHLY recommend 3D, won't be the same experience without it. Could be scary for younger kids, use your judgment. Was disappointed with the ending and (spoiler alert) .... you don't learn anything about the famous RED RUBY SLIPPERS

My wife, myself and another couple saw this last weekend and throughly enjoyed it! Seeing the orginal is not a prerequisite since this one is very different. A rollercoaster ride with adventure, fantasy, romance, good vs evil, and excellent special effects. We cannot recommend this enough but remember to be some what leary of taking a child to young. You might find yourself up at night with them

The film is stuffed with three endings too many. You can't blame Raimi for wanting to give us our money's worth. But after a while, you just want him to get to the Happily Ever After already. Full Review

This trip isn’t so notable. It’s not bad. Some bits are enjoyable. But ultimately, other than some genuinely impressive visuals, it never makes a compelling-enough case to justify its existence. Full Review

Oz the Great and Powerful tells the story of how the Wizard came to Oz, answering a question I suspect no one was asking, but with considerable digital wizardry. Full Review

An amorphous melange of ill-fitting reference points and misappropriated aesthetics, a lumbering family blockbuster both tiresome and wholly indistinct. Full Review

Don’t be fooled by the smoke and mirrors. There is nothing here that is great, or powerful. Worst of all, there’s nothing here that even feels like Oz. Full Review
