To tell you the truth.... I don't know why the MPAA rating is R. It shouldn't be R. This is a really good movie! Charles Dance bring out the gentleness in the Phantom. This movie is a real tear-jerker, make sure you have kleenex with you when you watch this. It is a really good movie!
