...I couldn't help but wonder at the end, what was that all about? Very weird. You KNOW they're setting us up for Pirates 4--they're not going to leave poor Elizabeth alone on that island to pine for Will for the next 10 years, nor are they going to leave Jack without his ship. I just hope Pirates 4 measures up to the first 3!

i will say this was a great movie. i love POTC it has been my favorite movie ever since it came out. the 3rd is so romantic action packed and surprising. but for people who don't understand what the hel they're saying and understand some history back then it would be confusing and to like a movie u have to understand it . johnny and orlando are so HOTT in this one

This movie is my favorite in the series partly because of the last hour which is filled with nothing but a battle. That battle alone makes 3 hours of confusion totally worth it. I have seen this movie 3 times, and while I was really confused the first time, I understand the storylines so much better now. Johnny Depp is still amazing as Jack. Keira and Orlando are good but not the best actors. (Although Orlando deserves points for his looks! :)) Geoffrey Rush is really great as Barbossa and Naomie Harris is very interesting as Tia Dalma. The one thing I love about this movie over the others is the more romantic storylines it has between Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann and (SPOILER ALERT!) Tia Dalma and Davy Jones. Keith Richards makes a good but short and sweet cameo appearance. I don't know if it is one for the whole family to see (my 7-year-old cousin saw it but she is extremely mature and smart for her age) because it might scare some children and might confuse them as well. It leaves a huge plot hole in the end of the movie so hopefully they will make another one. If they don't, you can guess what the end to the triology would have been (Kind of like how we had to guess what happened at the end of Sopranos). Great movie and great installment in the amazing trilogy. P.S., Disney please make a 4th one.

While I haven't seen the movie yet, I'm hesitant to take the recommendation from people with so little grasp on the English language (grammar or spelling). Do none of you ever read what you have written??? I'd hate to think our kids are reading this and thinking it is acceptable language.

LOVED IT! You really need to pay attention to the plot to get it and watch the other 2 movies. It was funny, engaging, and thrilling. Simultaneously! Never listen to critics. They do you no good. Why do we listen to other people telling OTHER people about their uninsightful opinions. I'm telling you.... it's a great movie.

Absolutly horrible and confusing. they just went off the first movie and had little to build off of. very confusing it shouldve stopped after 1(which was amazing!)
