The real horror here is watching Sandra Bullock drop her big Miss Congeniality smile to A-C-T! She does this by not smiling. What happened to the range she showed in "Crash" and "Infamous?" show more

A supernatural thriller that keeps your attention while failing to hold you in its grip. show more

Premonition is both dreary and absurd, suffering from a lack of intrinsic logic and terrible pacing, a one-two punch that kills off any chance of entertainment value. show more

Pay real money to see this feeble fiasco only if you're in the mood for "Groundhog Day" without the laughs. show more

    Steven Rea Philadelphia Inquirer

Premonition is an odd little thing, with a protagonist in a protracted fugue state and a plot that doesn't know whether its coming or going. Or maybe it does. show more

We never get a sensible explanation for Linda's bizarre double life, or uncover any reason - any reason at all - why Bullock would pick this lazy, patchwork script out of all the ones she surely receives every year. show more

    Michael Rechtshaffen The Hollywood Reporter

The usually likable Bullock, obstructed by glaring continuity problems and often baffling character motivation, comes across as unsympathetically dazed and confused here, giving the viewer little reason to care about this desperate housewife's puzzling predicament. show more

The star and the more overwrought aspects of the plot are mainstream but the philosophical implications will not appeal to those who prefer easily digestible cinematic portions. It's also true that the more deeply one considers the movie's themes and structure, the less sense it makes. show more

    Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune

As Premonition zigzags toward its solution it loses its head completely, packing a risible final reel with left-field religious disquisitions and heartfelt warnings against infidelity. show more

Premonition is actually more daring than you might expect. Not bold enough to be memorable, maybe, but just enough to keep you from falling asleep in front of the TV. show more

The bad reviews are rediculous, unless you completely lack morals, or you have never been in love there is NO reason to give this movie bad reviews. It seems that those of us in current serious relationships can easier relate to the movie and connect to sandra being that she lost the love of her life. Many couples go through the gradual distancing within their relationship. The movie just shows us, never take things in your life for granted. When you have the chance to fix something, fix it. Life is too short. I'm telling you, the movie is amazing and I'm so sick of all the horrible reviews. I loved it. It is a tear jerker, so be prepared, but a good one at that. : ) A MUST SEE!

This movie was terrible. Sandra Bullock looked horrible, the plot was bad, the storyline confusing and never made sense. Wish I'd had a "premonition" NOT to see this one. I want a refund. Total waste of time. I want to wake up the day before I went to see this so I would know not to go. Ha ha ha...

Overall I wouldn't reccomend this movie to anyone. I'll have to admit to enjoying the mystery, but the ending was just so dissapointing. It wasn't a movie that left me satisfied... but I'm begining to think that was the intention.

Don't listen to the bad reviews. If you like mystery movies with unpredictable endings you will like this movie. It all started coming together in the middle of the movie. It's a movie with good lessons. I highly recommend it :)

This movie was ok. Towards the middle you find yourself thinking. Man, I wish this movie would hurry up and unwind. Don't even think about going to get popcorn. You would be totally lost when you return. Not by far Sandra Bullock's best movie. Wait for the dvd. Don't buy it just rent it. Dana

I love Sandra, I wanted to give the movie a chance. From the begining of the movie it was very slow and was slow the whole way through. To many loose ends, you did not know if she really was having a vision of the furutre or if she went through so much trauma that basically she was helping herself remember what had happened by having flashbacks and writing them down. I was very disapointed. I had ptential but never took off.

This movie really did keep you on ur toes. You had to pay attention the whole time or you would have been totally lost. I think the story line was actually very interesting. There were alot of parts that just did not make sense and were not explained. The one thing i had a problem with was the ACTING!! Sandra is usually a great actress but she had no emotion in this movie and you felt no connection with her. It was annoying. The ending was very sad however and did make a lasting impression..I say see it just for the bazaar story line. You'll be entertained..
