This movie is based on a somewhat clever concept, but its execution was awful. It was like listening to someone who can't add or subtract try to explain calculus. The story makes no sense. First, Sandra Bullock knows exactly when, where and how her husband's going to die three full days before he does, and all she does about it see a priest, talk to her friend and stare pensively at the sky. HOW ABOUT PLASTERING SIGNS UP ALL AROUND THE HOUSE WARNING HER HUSBAND? It just didn't seem like she gave it her all. Towards the end we hear about the importance of having faith and fighting for what you love: bunk that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. And those are just the beginning of the logical inconsistencies of the film. "Premonition" was simply awful.

I don't understand why Sandra Bullock would do a movie like this. It was so impossible to follow, get interested, or care about any of the characters. The ending was a total bomb and made us really disgusted at the futility and pointlessness of the film. Yuk!

I thought it would be something great based on the previews..and Sandra being a great actress as she is. This was a HUGE step back in her acting career and I hope she stars in something better in the future. The story was overlooked and the plot was never consistant as I've just realized. In a way she killed her own husband..and how would he have died if she wasn't at the crime seen? And the sad ending with the baby at the end..Very disapointing..I'm not saying bring the husband back alive but dont kill him and leave us with a confusing unsatifying ending. Wait until it comes out on DVD and save your money for something better. *Sorry my review is long but I had a lot to say*

There are inconsistent issues (daughter without scars when told of her fathers death). Bullock was disappointing, something I never thought I'd say. Save your money.

The movie doesn't waste any time, informing the audience within 15 minutes that Bullock's husband has been killed in a fatal car crash. The lapses in time could have been clearer, because throughout the whole movie I was wondering which day she was on. The inconsistensies of the movie made it hard to keep track, and there was very little in the movie holding my interest. And at the end, it was a VERY dissapointing conclusion. What a let-down, because Bullock and McMahon are both very talented actors. But all in all, the movie could have improved so much more than it is.

I wasted 110 minutes of my life and wished I could have woken up without having seen it. The film had numerous problems ranging from a poorly constructed plot to characters that were not developed, thus, no emotional investment on the part of people in the audience. The annoying use of closeups just for the sake of closeups and a camera that seemed to be in the wrong places was part of the problem. And an extremely undeveloped and boring story that made me fidget in my chair and look at my watch every 5 minutes.
