This movie is a direct insult to the police and also especially to NY Police Department! The "F" wprd was not realistic. What is happening to the hollywood film industry.? Our police forces in general are adequetly educated people and they do not talk and like this film portreying! I wonder what they were doing , while plannig this conversation and the actions of the police force. Only realistic scene was the dinner at the home Father with entire family pictureds us a realistic view of a high rank police officer's moderate home, far away from any unusual luxury. In general ,film was so unrealistic, filthy, over bloody that it was boring and I left after over an hour!

Yes, I agree with most of the user comments. I saw this movie yesterday. The script has been done so many times, but the acting was superb. Of special note, the F ---- word was used in every single sentence so many times it took away from the story & was juvenile-like. . For the first 15 minutes I could not figure out what was going on since everybody talked at once and the background music was loud. Overall, great acting but a worn out script. I agree the director was a teenager influenced by the Sopranos and porn flick language. Kate

Great actors with a bad script. This movie has been done over and over again, and the only thing worth seeing is the fantastic performances.

Deserves award for most F words per sentance. Writers must be influenced by Soparanos & Porn flicks. Director must be under 18 or a relative to the funding. Plot O.K. for 1 hr cop show. Condolences to Norton.
