This movie is powerful, raw and honest and the acting is great. If you're squeamish, see something else. If you like a movie that makes you think, you'll like this one.

What until it comes out in your local video store, if you MUST see this movie. The camera work will make you dizzy and some look out of focus. The "story," is SO way over the top, it's not believable.

I fell asleep when they had the dinner scene, I actually walked out due to the slowness and boredeom of the plot. Very disappointed I figured Norton is the best thing for this film. Colin had a small part in as well. Don't waste the money please!!!

Not a great movie, but a FANTASTIC ONE. as a retired NYPD officer from the South bronx for the past 32 years, I have to say that this is the truest form of Police work I've seen. Not a good accolade I might add, but I true form of Police Work.

I thought this was a terrible movie. I was surprised to see that someone said it was well filmed. There were parts of the movie (especially one in particular) that looked like it was filmed by an amateur - so choppy it got me dizzy. In my opinion, it started way too fast without giving any kind of background on the characters. The acting was great - but I agree with someone before who said it was way too much reality and too depressing - couldn't wait for the end, which was not worth the wait.

tedious, boring, dark and gloomy. overacted, predictable, way too long, and the biggest waste of an evening.

Violent, dramatic, realistic, sad, GREAT acting, Gives you a very good reason to distrust cops, especially if you are any kind of bad guy, even a little bad guy. But they seem to be necessary even when they do bad stuff. peace and love

Very well made and filmed. Great inter-play between the father, brothers and brother-in-law. Outstanding acting by all members of the cast. One of the best cop movies.

Pride and Glory is a great gritty morality play and New York City cop drama, whose style is modern-day Film Noir. Although its set in a police corruption scandal, the real story is told as we watch the lead characters struggle with moral ambiguity. They are sworn to Protect and Serve, but who are they serving and protecting-- the public or themselves? The story is engrossing and the way it is told is riveting. Long after you leave the theatre, it stays with you. I know I will see it again. The ensemble cast is powerful-- they ARE the characters. If there is any justice in the world-- Edward Norton, Colin Farrell, John Voight and Jennifer Ehle will be nominated for Oscars, as well as the Director, Gavin OConnor and the Cinematographer, Declan Quinn.
