BORING!!!! Found no emotional connection to any of the charaters....wait for DVD if that...

BOBGOOLSBY It was so slow and I'm sorry But Dilllanger and Baby Face Nelson did not rob banks together, come on.... ----------------------------------------- Wrong..........They did rob banks together in Dillinger's 2nd gang. Nelson was killed in Ill. in Nov 1934 ........not at Little bohemia

considering All the other Public Enemy movies this one did NOT have to be made--the main charaters were boring as HECK!!!!

what a piece of ..... WAY out of touch with actual history ... BOTH baby face nelson and pretty boy died AFTER Dillinger ... baby face was wounded/died months later in a shootout in Barrington ill. Agent Chester Smith is credited with shooting pretty boy, not Purvis, again several months AFTER Dillinger died ... baby face and Dillinger DID hang out for awhile, and both where at little Bohemia Wisc, but both escaped uninjured into the night. what would have been the problem to keep the obvious facts correct?

It wasn't a great film but a good film. The only thing that I didn't like was the style in which they shot the movie, which is the way a lot of movies are being shot. The camera shakes around a lot and sometimes it's hard to follow what's going on without getting a bit dizzy. Depp did an excellent job as usual and it was nice to see all the Chicago sights.

Three of us went to see this movie today and all three of us were disappointed. It was long and slow. There was not a character in the movie to emphasize with...the story was not told with any one point of view. None of the characters seemed especially good or bad, flawed or damaged-they were all just blah. I really thought I'd like this movie-bummer!

I agree with Kustakowski - this was simply awful. The camera work was bumpy and awkward. I felt no emotional attachment to the characters. It was 2 hours too long. Don't bother going to see it.

I thought this movie was very good. I don't know what all the complaints are about. The cinemetography was right on. Johnny Depp was fantastic as was Christian Bale. I loved the way they filmed this movie. I was never bored at all. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. I didn't go for the facts, I wanted to see Johnny Depp and he delivered a great performance. I will never forget his portrayal of Dillinger. This movie was about Dillinger vs Purvis and they both did a great job. Nobody walked out or fell asleep. As for the rest of you, sorry this movie lacked poop jokes or pornographic images you are all used to and crave. this was one great movie. Don't let the other immature people who don't know a good movie when they see one talk you out of it. I loved it and so did my husband.
