The movie flowed well from Casino Royale. The action was amazing and kept my attention. I think if I were to be critical the movie could have been a bit longer. The stage is set for the next movie as Mr. White still needs to be captured, again. I miss Q, although most of that stuff was rediculous, he has a place in Bond history that should not be eliminated. Likewise Miss Moneypenny. Craig makes an excellent Bond, he will probably prove to be the best since the original, Sean Connery. His combination of looks style and toughness is a combination that his predessors lacked. I like my heros to be tough not just pretty boys.

Love the characters (good Bond, good M) but this one didn't hit as well as the last one (Casino Royal) did. From mindless gadgetry of the 80s and 90s, this one moves Bond into mindless action of Y2K (ala Mission Impossibles). Entertaining fight scenes and strong characters slightly make up for a twisty confusing and totally unbelievable plot line and some (way) over the top action scenes.

If you did not see the last one, then you will be a little confused at some of the plot. I wish they would have explained the plot earlier so we would not be so left out. This is an average flick. Don't go out of your way to see it. Not worth the full price they as for. It would be a good DVD Saturday afternoon flick. Just another Bond flick that left me dry.

As a movie in general, Quantum was so-so. However, it is a pity that James Bond is dead. There were only 6 people in the theater and after seeing the movie we understood why. The ONLY thing that could possibly be said to have made this a James Bond movie was the fact that the main character was named James Bond. Beyond that, there was not on single thing that resempled 007's suave, debonair, cheeky attitude. Daniel Craig portrays a cold-hearted killer, savage in his intent to commit mayhem. Based on this rediculous portrayal of a legend we will probably NEVER see another Bond movie. R.I.P James Bond!!!

There's no need for character development when you've got Sean Connery, Roger Moore, and Pierce Brosnan showing you what Bond becomes. It's a breath of fresh air seeing Bond's young adventures and finding out what made him the cold-hearted bastard he became.
