This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Action was most unrealistic. I really wanted to get my money back. If you like action movies, you won't enjoy this. Don't waste your time.

Everyone's freaking out that it's not "James Bond" "no gadgets, no moneypenny, non of the original. THAT'S BECAUSE IT"S A REBOOT. Yes they keep many James Bond traditions but they need more but i don't want it to be exactly like the others i don't want the same movie. Sean Connery's was awesome he set the bar high for other bond's but then Roger Moore's wasn't like Sean Connery's then Timothy Dalton wasn't like Roger Moore then Pierce Brosnan wasn't like Timothy Dalton and FACE IT Daniel Craig is not going to be like Pierce Brosnan or any others!. FORGET ABOUT LAZENBY!

I thought it was a great movie but I agree with JeffMielke07 there were some really tough to view scenes. Not a lot of time for character development on the whole but enjoyable none the less. worth seeing, 4/5 stars

A fun movie, but lacks a great script like Casino Royale. Also, some action sequences were shot extremely tight and difficult to view.

This is nothing but an action movie folks!!!!!!!! The guy never even says BOND, JAMES BOND. NO cool gadgets, moneypenny, cute one-liners, classic twangy guitar bond theme music. This was one piece of crap, We have swayed so far south of the classic cinematic BOND that the character has been reduced to an Action hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The worst Bond ever!!!!! even more horrid than the man with the golden gun., even that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Contrary to most reviews, I liked "Quantum" more than "Casino Royale." While I preferred Martin Campbell's directing and the action scenes in "Casino", I liked the evolution of the character of Bond. Picking up an hour after the end of "Casino", James Bond is now on the smoother side of blunt instruments. He never introduces himself as "Bond, James Bond", but he doesn't have to, and he never orders a martini "shaken, not stirred", but it's implied. Director Marc Forester ("Finding Neverland", "Stranger than Fiction"!) annoyingly chose to film all the action scenes with a choppy "Cloverfield" handycam approach. This is one way to force the viewer to pay attention rather than shutting their minds of during the chases, but the most innovative action sequences would have been much more visually appealing with a steady cam, and the more standard action scenes aren't really shaken up any more with the new approach. On the other hand, the movie's filled with welcome references to the older Bond movies and novels, including one scene lifted right out of "Goldfinger." I preffered the new Bond girls over those in the previous movie. Olga Kurylenko is exotic and beautiful, while fresh-faced Gemma Arterton's younger, more vulnerable Agent Fields makes her unique among Bond girls, and also my new favorite. Also, compared to "Casino"'s two-hour-plus running time, "Quantum", while short for a Bond film, ends just soon enough not to outstay its welcome. Bottom line: Despite all the flaws I could pick out, I left the theater grinning like an idiot. Twice.

I saw the movie on opening night in theatres... with all america to see their favorite super action man, and I watched the whole thing from start to finish... I really liked the action sequences, and the plot i didn't care for, I also am not a big Daniel Craig fan, but I still wanted to see the movie, and I was excited for it, and I liked the movie because of the action scenes. each scene was exciting and super good... also, I honestly liked more Casino Royale than this one. but still, the action sequences in the film was good.

Wow!!!!!!!!!! A high speed car chase with the bad guys firing machine guns at James Bond...how creative and exciting. It started out bad and stayed that way. Among the worst Bond films. Too bad, I hope the franchise learns from this mistake and comes up with a real script for the next one.

Those of you who didn't get it either did not pay attention to the last film, or are two stupid to understand. It's really sad that you didn't like this film. Craig is fantastic, the story is fantastic, and yet again, a great film.
