Painful and boring. Who are these people, you never find out. Who cares? Interesting multicultural background was wasted.

This movie is about how the members of a family come to understand their own strengths and weaknesses as well as their dysfunctional relationships with each other. The movie emphasizes on the core family values and parental roles in raising children. If you pay enough attention in the movie, you will notice how the main character Kim came to understand her own feelings related to her brotherâs death and who actually was responsible for his death. If you have a superficial view towards the world and looking for nothing but cheap entertainment, the movie does not provide that.

I walked out after 25min. This is self indulgent drivel that someone apparently feels is worthy of calling cinema. I love Anne Hathaway but she is not a sympathetic figure in this move - just a brat. Avoid this movie like the plague.

So after reading all these reviews I have come to a conclusion. Sheep didn't like it. I will make sure to rush out and see it.

This was the worst movie I have gone to see in a very long time and the first that I have walked out on in almost 30 years! The pompous asses ( both "professional" critics and the smarter than you crowd of amateurs) that act like everyone who didn't like this movie are morons are the kind of people who make life really crappy. My wife and I (both post college graduates, with IQs in the 140's...just to make the point that we are not riding around on the short bus!) love all sorts of movies and an awful lot of them are out of the mainstream, foreign, "artistic" etc. So no, we are not soap opera watching, special effects driven movie goers, though we enjoy those big thrill ride films too. If it's good, it's good. But this movie was just so much more of the typical Hollywood, secular progressive crap where EVERY family is broken and /or dysfunctional, Every "loving" couple is interracial (and ALWAYS black male/white female), where drugs, smoking and booze are are the norm. Okay so I admit there may be a lot of truth in reality to some of this, but it's dismal nonetheless. Let's see something better about how people overcome problems without resorting to throwing in the towel, going down the long dark tunnel toward oblivion, hitting rock bottom and wallowing in filth before there is any hope of redemption. The bottom line, this just wasn't entertaining in the least..it was morbid and dull...and of course, expressing views (or should I say ramming them down your throat as if we haven't been subjected endlessly to such beliefs enough by now) which are destinctly left of center.

This is the worst film that I have ever seen. It is disjointed , unfocused, poorly acted and a total waste of my time.

I want to understand what's all buzz about this movie ! I saw it and I think it's a mediocre movie with an old plot, shot a la Woody Allen, nothing special about it. If Anne Hathway will get an Oscar for this performance it'll be just an insult for many really talented actresses that never got nominated. Her per

This was absolutely the WORST movie my husband and I have ever seen!!!! I was literally fighting to keep my eyes open...FYI we went to the matinee...not a night time showing. The camera work was awful...very shaky ...hence my headache! The shaky camera work kind of started off like that Blair Witch movie! The plot was just dreadful, the 2 main characters were unbelievable as an engaged couple. There was no chemistry between the 2 in our opinion! Please please save your money! DO NOT BOTHER SEEING THIS FARCE OF A MOVIE!!!! We finally had to follow suit and leave a third of the way through...just as THE MANY MANY theater goers did BEFORE of us that morning!!!!

I am in the middle with this film. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. I felt that it started well. I got the feel of how on edge the characters were with Kym, however at the rehearsal dinner I was bored out of my mind. I kept thinking are they really going to go through everyone in the room. Yup they did. I was relieved when they went to Kym hoping it would end the torture, nope they just moved on to the other people. Big Yawn. The story of the family is great. The history of Kym and her little brother is the only thing that made me stay in my seat. But things like the dishwasher game took me right out of the movie again, until the plate was seen, and I was so glad, because it put the story back in focus. The wedding party was a little fun. I would love to enjoy a wedding like that. I was exciting at first but it was still too long. I was tired and wanted to go home at that point. But I stayed only to be completely confused by the ending.

This movie was BRUTAL! From begining to end! Tireless scenes of uninteresting and banal dialogue delivered by equally uninteresting characters. Nothing original. Filmed like a home movie only made it more annoying to watch. Bad soundtrack too! Made my list of ten worst movies ever!
