Plot

Cyril (Tony Ranasinghe) is an attorney who returns home to Ceylon after his studies abroad. He is critical of the backwards ways of his country. Although engaged to marry Sujatha (Punya Heendeniya), Cyril impregnates his fiance's best friend Sarojinia (Anula Karunatillak). Both women dump the lecherous lawyer and become nuns in a Buddhist temple in this moral melodrama.
