The variations of fire and romance mixted with dark humor made the movie a must see. It was relatable, and an overall great movie. I'd recommend it to all.
Well being of Irish desent I really got sucked in on this one... This movie was painful to sit through, but I hung in there hoping it would get better. Sadly it did not... Why can't they find an Irishman to play someone who is supposed to be Irish? That new actress who played the younger sister to Susan Lynch was cute though...
Just caught the trailer for this film and got really excited. The dialogue was super sharp and the cinematography looked beautiful. I even think I recognized a song from Flogging Molly! They posted the trailer on www.apple.com/trailers if you want to check it out for yourself. It opens this weekend in NY and LA. Whoohoo!
I love Olivia Tracey and I'm so happy that her new movie is coming next weekend, June 27th! I also heard that her interview about Red Roses and Petol is on PBS this Sunday in NY. Unfortunately, I can't see the TV because I'm in CA but I'll definitely go to see the movie.
