Reggae Sunsplash synopsis

Bob Marley is the headliner of this documentary on the 1979 Reggae Sunsplash II Festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Bob Marley and the Wailers perform hits such as "Exodus," "Redemption Song" and "Lively Up Yourself" while Peter Tosh performs his solo hits "Rastafari Is" and "Legalize It." Burning Spear, Third World and Big Youth perform live as well. The film includes brief interviews with the musicians on the economic plight of Jamaicans and the effect of reggae music on the world.
