Wow! WTG Bill Maher! I couldn't belive how many things you said that I've thought and said. Why do people feel they have to live theirs lives... ng to the laws of books written 2000 years ago by men? Anyway, apprecaisted the candid and honest approach to a touchy subject. Loved the rebel preist at the Vatican! A man after my own heart! Full Review
Finnally, a voice of sanity in a world gone crazy! We need many more if we want our children to have a world in any form. Since, these bible thumping... crazies got a political voice, this country is as dangerous as any other country where aciient fairy tails is the base of their reason.. Full Review
Ineffectual liberal *******.
Finally someone had the guts to make a movie like this. Being a non-believer is taboo in this country. This movie emphasises how gullible and naive... religious people are. Religion is a crutch for people who can't face the reality of death. Have most Christians read the entire bible from front to back including both testiments? Of course not but they swear up and down that it is God's word and people must abide by it's every word. Thank you Bill Maher for taking on this subject and showing how silly all those fairy tales are. Bravo!!!! Full Review

He's a bombs-away provocateur, and in Religulous, Maher's blasphemous detonation of all things holy and scriptural, he doesn't really pretend to play fair. He's like Lenny Bruce with an inquiring mind and a video camera.Full Review
You may very well hate it, but at least you've been informed. Perhaps you could enjoy the material about other religions, and tune out when yours is being discussed. That's only human nature.Full Review
Those with a taste for irreverent humor and clear-eyed analysis will find it funny, enlightening and disturbing.Full Review
Maher can be a smartass, but his attempts to apply reason to religion are more a challenge than a threat.Full Review
To the film's credit, Maher never engages in Michael Moore-style gotcha tactics, but rather asks questions that raise more questions, in the form of a Socratic dialogue. To believers expecting a blind hatchet job, this will prove both thought-provoking and a bit disarming; skeptics may be surprised (as Maher is) by the occasionally smart replies to his queries.Full Review
