Fabulous movie---I saw it twice. Bill did a great job separating God (a personal relationship) with religion and the bible (both man-made). He asked human questions about different religious points of view and the bible. --- very thought provoking.

It was a challenge to stay through the end. Too many axes to grind, the whole thing can't get out of its own way. Maher's talent is hindered by the way he forces his points. Nice try. I was one of 5 people in the theater, a few laughs now and then, mostly the trailer stuff.

This is the most intelligent movie I have seen in years. Bill Maher knows what he is talking about. Great film!

In the name of the Great I Am, we see man's inhumanity to man in the ultimate. A complete opposite to peace, love and joy. Thought-provoking and everyone should take this "heads up" experience.

I loved it. Just shows how much BS and the negativity of religion in 21 century. The most amazing thing is that he was just asking question and everyone was saying the most ridiculous stories. Must see for people who are not emotionally incapable and are ready for truth.

I went to see Religulous last evening, Bill Maherâs attempt to point out to the world how Ridiculous religion is. I agreed with him in so much as he exposed downright ignorance, and people who pander religion, who sell it for a buck (the minister with no credentials who wears $2000 suits because his church members want him to look nice), or those who sell it as a cure for being âotherâ (the ex-gay man who promises to cure you from your gayness), or the spiritual masturbators who sell it as a means for people to get off emotionally (the Holy Land Theme Park where you can watch Jesus be bloodied and be crucified everyday and the tongue speakers who work you up with their gibberish) or those who sell it for power(he introduced us to religious leaders who spend their days on earth preaching a gospel of hate and intolerance), or those who sell it because they believe they are God (the guy who proclaims that he the second coming of Jesus Christ because he can prove that he is descended from Jesus and everyone knows that that is how Jesus was always going to come back). There was more and he asked some hard questions of those he interviewed. He interviewed some fabulous folks like the priest in front of the Vatican in Rome after he was thrown out and the two ex-Mormon guys. I laughed out loud until Bill stood in Megiddo, the spot where he began the movie and the spot where scripture predicts the end of the world will begin. It was here that Bill preached his own sermon from a mount. He peered down at all of us looking up at him and spent the last 7 minutes or so of the film preaching, preaching his religion of doubt, his religion of non-faith. Maybe he thought he was expounding the virtues of reason, and critical thought, but it just sounded like a fire and brimstone sermon to me.

Great movie!!! Those who knock it without even seeing it are NOT christ-like!! You're all sooo close minded, ignorant, and the reason why he made this movie in the first place. It's one thing to have your beliefs, but it's another to look down upon others who disagree with you!!! And it's wrong to judge those and actually tell them they're going to hell because they have different views than yourself!!!! Get a freaking clue!!! Jesus wasn't like you, he wouldn't condone your behavior at all. So maybe you should be more christ-like, just like the nice men who were in the truckers church at the beginning of the movie. They were nice to Bill and respected him, and he respected them because the were genuine and had a great discussion... too bad you people aren't like them.

Hmm, didn't take the first time. I haven't seen this movie and I don't intend to. With Bill Maher involved in ti I know in advance that it will be a piece of crap. How does this guy keep hanging around.

To my fellow Christians, if you did not see a film, you should not be here giving it a bad review. That is dishonest. From what I've heard about the film, previews I saw, and by my opinion of Bill Maher in general, I choose not to see this film. Nor should any Christian be here threatening those who watch and enjoyed Religulous with "You are going to Hell." I know it is quite possible that NO real Christians have made such a charge here, occasionally someone who hates christianity will pretend to be Christian and write such an outrageous coment. The Gospel is not that 'those who sin are going to Hell, but rather, God has sent His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall recieve eternal life and life abundantly. "Come to me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
