This was very well filmed and it made the performance feel more like a movie than a regular performance. It's way different than any filmed performance I've ever seen.
i saw it and i loved it
the filming was bad but the show was amazing!!! and there's no doubt about that...and dont bother???? yeahh this is the last time the show will be possible to be seen for like TWELVE years so do bother! and adam pascal should have been in it!!!!!!
The performances are great and if you are a "Rent" fan you will enjoy this. But my main complaint is that NOTHING was done to make this feel like a "special" performance or a "special" show. Except for some original cast members appearing at the end, this could have been the film of ANY performance. I was outside the theatre during the final performance and there was a MOB of fans outside the
bad bad bad camerawork - heads of the leads literally cut off during scenes - don't bother.
