I LOVED it - very real to life - real emotion, real struggles and decisions - who hasn't wanted to just move away - run away - start over? This showed one grounded person and one who needed more and the dreams and hopes of both. I could totally relate.

The critics must have seen a different movie or they watched Titanic. This was awful. It is not even a renter. I would not recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed.

I was sitting in the movie on thiis one wondering how I could get my money back! This movie sucked so much if I could write to Leo I'd ask him what the heck was he thinking? It's one of those movie's you ask yourself why you didn't just stay home

This movie was HORRIBLE! I don't get all the buzz. It was pointless and stupid. I wanted to drive off the overpass on the way home. Save your money and 2 hours of your life - trust me.

I saw this movie about 10 days ago. Excellent, a must see, Kate Winslet and Leonardo give a terrific performance. I definitely recommend it.

It was nice to see a film about a suburban couple in the 1950's who weren't artificial, whose relationship wasn't perfect, and who thought for themselves. This presents a different picture than did sitcoms from the period, which were anything but realistic.

The movie is a critique of the 1950s during Ike's era where "motherhood and apple pie" reigned. Women were suppose to stay home raising the kids in suburbia while the men in "gray fannel suits" went to work in the cities to support their families. The acting was fabulous. Too bad that Hollywood snubbed Leonardo. He should had been nominated for Best Actor.

After the movie I was alittle dissapointed. It wasn't anything at all like Titanic. I mean, the acting was great, but I didn't like how the story went. Ok so the marriage was bad they cheat on each other, she wanted to leave town, he didnt. And? .... That's that.

Wow! Powerful. Very real. Don't think it is only true for the 1950 women feel the same way now.
