This was a VERY well done movie. People usually don't like movies like this, movies that are real and true to life. This is not a movie to see if you just want to see Kate and Leo together on screen. If you aren't into a movie that is thought provoking, don't see this one! Plain and simple. Kate Winset was fantastic, as was Leo Dicaprio. The whole cast did an amazing job. I loved it!

For those who felt this dreaful movie was great because it was "so reality based"... I say this..... I suppose you'd shout raves about a movie having the lead character with stomach flu sitting on the pot with the runs for 3 hours! A pure masterpiece depicting a "real life" event!...... "Revolutionary Runs"!

This movie made me feel REAL. I am sick and tired of people who cannot watch a movie about reality. This movie is for people who understand that life is not about rainbows and lollipops. This movie is only for those who truly appreciate a movie that is very close to reality. I LOVED it. Can't say enough.

Don't waste your time. A very depressing, gloomy, hopeless portrait of a marriage. Great acting but couldn't wait for it to be over. Kathy Bates loony son stole the show! Hilarious but I don't know if that was the intended effect. Serious points in the movie and peole were laughing out loud. Save your money. Go see Slumdog Millionaire instead. Awesome movie.

If you did not like this movie, then you DID NOT GET IT--just like the husband who did not get it. He failed to see that his wife was suffering from severe depression. But she saw him as being successful, as being a man with a future. Yet he was blind to her pain, to her inescapeable life of spiritless sinking gloom.

This was the Worst movie ever! The acting was great but the movie was just disgusting. So depressing and just a total waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and stay at home and rent something.

This movie was stunning !! I can't believe it is not one of nominatee for best picture. It must have struck too close to home for the subject matter. . Acting was superb, costumes, setting, art design all were incredible. Please see this movie, it is very emotional and real.

This movie is terrible. I would not sit back through it if you paid me to do it. The acting is great. The story is God awful. I hated this movie.
