I saw this movie about 10 days ago. Excellent, a must see, Kate Winslet and Leonardo give a terrific performance. I definitely recommend it.

This movie is terrible. I would not sit back through it if you paid me to do it. The acting is great. The story is God awful. I hated this movie.

After the movie I was alittle dissapointed. It wasn't anything at all like Titanic. I mean, the acting was great, but I didn't like how the story went. Ok so the marriage was bad they cheat on each other, she wanted to leave town, he didnt. And? .... That's that.

This movie is soooo horrible. It was very slow and boring. I saw people sleeping in the theater. the entire movie is based around how kate winslet's character is feeling and her character is moody and often annoying. What a waste of my time.

It was nice to see a film about a suburban couple in the 1950's who weren't artificial, whose relationship wasn't perfect, and who thought for themselves. This presents a different picture than did sitcoms from the period, which were anything but realistic.

Really depressing outlook on life. Great acting, but way too negative of a plot.

If you like watching dysfunctional married couples do rotten things to each other, with horrible consequences, then this movie's for you! That's entertainment? No thanks! The MPAA ratings board should start adding a "quality" rating to the films they rate. Then people like me, who like to be entertained at a movie, can avoid parting with their ticket money just to be disgusted.

If I wanted to watch a married couple fight, I could have stayed home. This movie left us both in foul moods. Skip it. P.S. I loved American Beauty and was hoping for something along those lines, this just felt like Mendes was grasping at straws in an attempt to showcase his wife's talent. Pass on this one and go see The Reader. Winslet will get her Oscar for that one.

This movie made me feel REAL. I am sick and tired of people who cannot watch a movie about reality. This movie is for people who understand that life is not about rainbows and lollipops. This movie is only for those who truly appreciate a movie that is very close to reality. I LOVED it. Can't say enough.
