Tough guy Stallone, played great in Rocky.Dolly is cool in 9 to 5.Here, they join together in a countrified "Pygmalion". Nick (Stallone) is a cab driver w... ho finds himself in trouble, Jake (Parton) is the country star who wants to get out of a music contract.Freddie(Montagna),is sleazy as Jake's manager. He and Jake fashion a bet, where Nick would sing for a live audience,as part of the deal.Love is strange, and it works out that the two "songbirds" happen to fall for each other. It is hysterical to listen to Nick warbling in his family funeral parlor. He gets corny, playing the organ. Parton and Stallone are funny here. I say Cheers and Bravo for their unique comedy in this film ! Full Review
