wow i'm blown away by the negitive reviews. yeah this is your out of the box mystery thriller that you might figure out 3/4 of the way through but in no way did it stink.. if you liked Kiss the Girls then you'll like this one.. and being these are two of the best actors of our time its worth a look.

Predictable plot, never reaching any level of great intrigue. With lessor actors, it would have been a total instead of just a partial bust.

This movie has been done to death. I saw the ending coming a mile away. But, unlike the critics, I enjoyed both DiNiro and Pacino. I felt they kept the movie from being bad - they made it an okay movie. These are both true masters and worthy of that credit. Many a talented actor has taken flims that were seriously flawed. I give it a C+

Because of all the pre-hype of DeNiro and Pacino reuniting, I went to see this movie. Plus, I'm a huge fan of both actors. But this movie, seriously was a major bummer! I've never walked out of a movie either of these guys were in before, but I was so bored by this one that by the half way mark I decided to leave. The plot dragged on and the dialogue was the pits! Just no sparks whatsoever. I decided to go see what else was playing in the theatre I was in and right across from "Righteous Kill" was "Traitor" which I knew not much about except that Don Cheadle was in it and I like him for the most part. Seriously? That movie? Is like 10 times better than "Righteous Kill"! So my suggestion is...Skip this movie and go check out "Traitor" that one's great. And I agree with the other reviewer here who said to go watch "Heat" again because that's still the best movie with DeNiro and Pacino workin together! I'm sorry but "Righteous Kill" was just plain old "Kill Me NOW I'm SO Friggin BORED"!

Considering all the talent on tap, not very entertaining, sorry to say. Lots of tension but not much suspense.

As much as I have loved Pacino and DeNiro in the past, and in their moments together in "Heat" which were fantastic...I was very disappointed by "Righteous Kill"...Pacino has a few funny moments lines to add to the darker drama underneath this..BUT..the movie itself drags on and it takes at least to the half-way point before it really seems to catch any fire whatsoever..DeNiro seems to sleepwalk through this as though it was more a walk through Central Park for him than a good film experience...And Pacino just follows suit. Probably not the fault of either actor so much as the script...A bit disappointed in this long waited for "reunion"...I'd say skip this one in theatres, wait for it on cable "maybe"..and DEFINITELY rent "Heat" again instead..Especially if you are looking for the better film connection these two great actors have shared together.
