This movie was really enchanting. The music and the romance, a rarity in this day and age, is tear jerking, and the choreography is breathtaking. I have watched this movie many times and it gets bette... r every time. The colors, the music, the dancing, the beauty, they overtake you. I love the story, although heart breaking at the end. I would have never thought of penning a movie review, but I couldn't help dedicating paens of praise for Saawariya. This is a film painted in rich hues of blue and green from an artistic palette. It i... s a beautiful composition of love and pathos that tugs at your heartstrings and speaks to your soul. It offers myriad tints of surreal imagination - the Venetian gondolas cruising along the back canals, bright turquoise glow of the rippling water, and a bird's eye view of an imaginary land with magical neon lights and domed houses (you can even see a wagon chugging along and building to the crescendo of the film). Wait, wait, its not all imagery and props.Saawariya offers more than just visual delight!It makes you laugh, and cry at times, and feel for its characters. You can almost relate to Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) and Sakina (Sonam Kapoor) when their paths cross and diverge or when love drives them to a maddening frenzy. It makes you think.haven't I lived through these moments before...loved and lost....grieved and groveled for the love that was never mine? Saawariyan is a simple story of a lonely guy who falls heads over heels in love with a girl he meets on a somber night, and is heart-broken to hear that she is waiting for Aman (Salman Khan) who has promised to return soon. When Raj and Sakina meet on the deserted bylanes, and exchange banters like long lost friends, cheerily hug and hold each other, you do see the sparks flying.and you think .I am no stranger to the torrents of passion, I know how the thread of love had spun a cocoon around my heart and blinded me to the realities of life.Some of these film's moments will stay in your heart forever-1. ANybody who goes and tolerates this movie is really a very patient person\nThe acting, dialogue, script and settings are terribly childish and silly and tests ones'nerves

it sounds like a way worshipping a false way with other gods and another false romance and the real love is only true the real G-D not this Hindu that everything goes.

Couldn't wait for this one to end. Preachy and disjointed. I completely agree with the messages in the movie, support the actor's right to make this kind of film BUT it's not entertaining. I go to ... the movies to be entertained, NOT for a sermon. Thanks but no thanks. Full Review
