Very enjoyable movie; though there were quite a few factual errors in the movie. From the start: Abraham Lincoln never wrote to anyone about the loss of her sons - never happened.

A great war movie but with some unseen flaws. First: the D-Day landing was a bit unrealistic. The driver of the boat would not in his right mind park his passenger load directly in front of a bunker. Just plainly unrealistic. Second: Spielberg always puts some stupid child element into every one of his damn movies. In this case, the German child and Vin Diesel. Plain stupid. The movie was great,
