Plot Summary
Originally an episode from the 1970s television drama "Lanigan's Rabbi," this film finds police Chief Paul Lanigan (Art Carney) trapped in a scandalous murder investigation when an infamous miscreant who accused him of accepting bribes is found dead. Paul is under suspicion for the murder, and he decides to turn to his old friend, Rabbi David Small (Bruce Solomon), who uses his investigative prowess in order to get to the bottom of the mystery.
