In the first 30 minutes, I was so very aggravated because I didn't understand anything, and just felt like I never would. But then it all came together, and I thought it was a great movie!

i love the way Will Smith does his movies because you dont know what the movie is until you really watch it.. In this movie i was confused in begining probally like a lot of people were but as the movie played a long i put the pieces together.. it was a shocking ,Caring, Drama i have seen in a long time..

I love Will Smith but save your money this is a movie to rent. Was not happy with making suicide into a hero. Don't take your children to see it.

Very touching movie. Will put his all into this wonderful movie. I've seem most of his films and this is one of the better ones. A must see film for sure.

Will has grown into a very impressive actor from his comedic start as the Fresh Prince, rapper/comedian.Yes he is impressive in "Seven Pounds". However the premise is whacked. In so many words, the premise, if tragedy strikes, it's ok to off yourself, but don't carry this out until you have found people worthy enough to to donate your organs to. And if you have a nice home, don't forget to again give it away to some deserving person. Yes he was involved in a tragic car accident that took the life of the woman he has just proposed to and seven other people that were in the van he crashed into. But I'm sorry, there is no rule book that says that your life is over because of this. You need to work on your life, not play God with others.Besides how did he know that his heart would be compatible to the Rosario Dawson character, or that the bone marrow transplant would take for the hockey coach.?. The Woody Harrelson character? I don't remember Stevie Wonder or Jose Feliciano feeling any less of a human being because they were blind. I did love Rosario's performance though. His relationship with his brother, played by Michael Ealy, was strange. He had stolen his brother's identification but his brother did not know how to get to him, as though he didn't know where Will lived.. All in all, it was a very well acted, but depressing movie. Suicide ain't cool. I don't care how you slice it.. .

This movie is worth the watch. At first, is was a little hard to keep pace, with it jumping from scene to scene like it did but was good. Had me tearing at the end, but maybe it was the booze that i sneaked in that did the trick.. Go see this movie def with a chick if ur a dude. enjoy

this is a pretty good movie overall. it has its slow parts, but it is also very emotional. Will Smith did a great job.
