I thought that this movies was very boring, from begining to end. I love Will Smith, and was very disappointed. It dragged so much in the begining that I almost left, and then when it got to the end I wish I had left.

will smith.was so wounderful in this movie.he is easily the top runner for this years oscars winner.if you expect to see the rough and tumble will, forget it.he is at his best since six degrees.a really touching and moving picture.will seemed relaxed and truly within his element.

Just a really good movie!! As some others have noted it does drag just a bit in the beginning but being forewarned I knew to hang in there....It was very emotional so those who know me know I'm still crying as I write this review..overall, I definitely give it 5 stars!!

I thought the movie was great, but beware that it is confusing and drags badly at the beginning. In the movies you are going to wonder what is going on and where the movie is going. If you are seeing on DVD, you are going to want to shut it off. My advice is to hang in there, because it gets soooo much better! The movie is sort of like "The Sixth Sense., " in how everything makes sense and comes together at the end. so hang in there. Will Smith is great, a little creepy, but very good. Not his best by a long shot, but definitely worth seeing.

This was a really sad movie at the end. In the beginning I was a little confused and was asking questions as to why things were occurring; but at the end understood it all except the part where the "friend" owed him a favor. This is a different type of movie, I liked it, but left in a sad state. I saw the Boy in the Stripped Pajamas before this one; the next movie needs to be a comedy!

The acting in this movie was terrific. The plot was intriguing. The cinematography was amateurish to the point it was a total distraction. Most of the movie was out of focus. The camera person jobbled the camera when moving, much like a home movie. While I do not care for spinning of the camera while focused on a person, this was totally messed up. the background which is in focus during a spinning sequence was so out of focus is looked like paint stripes. No point at all. The plot was very hard to follow with all of these distractions and it dimished the performance of some outstanding actors
