what makes this a movie? There is nothing "serious as a heart attack" about this movie.... The director, editor, extra music maker, and main actor being the same guy starring 2 actors(well starring their BACKS) and nothing but shakey camera....who was paid big bucks to produce this and/or promote it? This isn't better than a 15 year old's "backyard battle" using dad's video
This has to be by far the worst movie ever made. It was an insult to even put this piece of crap on the scree. I was waiting and waiting for some dialogue------when it did come from either of the vikings it was like reader a script from Woodstock---terms that were so laughable it made me sick. There isn't a low enough rating for me to rate this CRAP
Finally a movie thats speaks the truth about the discovery of America!!!

If a black-metal band ever made a 107-minute music video, this visually striking but otherwise ludicrous epic is probably what it would look like. Full Review

Though there's no doubt that Mr. Stone is as serious as a heart attack when it comes to creating an air of authenticity -- hence the sloppily butchered chickens and authorial defecation -- he never settles on a coherent tone for the movie. Full Review

"Pathfinder" meets "Gerry" in Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery of America, a striking and virtually wordless story of two Vikings separated from their tribe and left to stumble through the North American wilderness. Full Review
