Great movie for ladies, but do not take your men. They will hate for making them sit through it. Helps if you watched the series to better understand the movie. Would be a good addition to someones' movie collection who has all the seasons on DVD and thinks the SITC girls are the "be all, end all."

What a bunch of BS! If this movie represents the US., we are in deep dodo. From the story, to the actors- I walked out in the middle, and then it was too long.

first i will say that my girlfriend dragged me to this......next i will say that i lied to her about liking the movie.....i wouldve falled asleep but i ran out of popcorn so i got more but shallow skanks who dont have much of a very interesting life isnt my thing.....also im not homophobic or anything but sometimes that gay guy gave me the creeps......but my girlfriend is reading this so she gives it a 4,.............i give it a 0

This movie was great. It takes you on an emotional journey then you laugh because it's funny. It touches all of your emotions. It was a real romantic, funny movie. Everyone will love it.

Chick flick for those SITC fans only. Only went because the girlfriend is a huge fan and wanted to see it. Sorry but the ultra shallow, skanky, egomaniacal characters just do not appeal to me in the least and this movie, unless you're a SITC fan, won't appeal to you either.

Just saw the movie and LOVED it! Not one that my husband would love, but like the series there were so many one liners that you can't catch them all the first time you see the movie. I will see it again and can't wait to have it come out on DVD!

OK, for starters...I'm a guy. Went to this film, with a friend, I was one of the very few males in the audience, but I knew that going in. Yes, I occassionally saw this TV show back when it was on, it seemed a bit trite to me, very repetative at times. I guess the girls/women who were big fans, watched it for the outrageous clothes, hair, etc. to see what the "hottest NY trends" were...I don't know.The one thing that I could not figure out was....why did Samantha not have a single sexual encounter in this entire movie?? That's what made the TV show worth watching, to me! Anyhow...not bad, but could have have hotter and more sexy to me! Has anyone out there ever seen the parody that Bea Arther and the rest of the Golden Girls did on this show?? Now, that was FUNNY!!! Look it up on google, you will die laughing!!
