Zac Reeder's Jaws-inspired thriller Shark tells the tale of Jake, a small-town science teacher who becomes caught up in an investigation of missing people. A discredited elderly sailor claims that a shark has eaten the missing people, but this seems unlikely considering the town's location. When the townspeople realize the old timer was in fact correct, Jake is one of the people entrusted with the job of getting rid of the Great White menace.
