I would suggest that "Sicko" be viewed by all those who supposedly represent us in Congress. When our lives are controlled by companies in the healthcare field, and those companies are in business to make a profit, it stands to reason that the less they spend and the more they charge, means maximized profit is what they are in business for. It's a shame that the richest country in the world has a political system that allows this abuse of its citizens.

I realize that the health care system is not perfect in other countries, but the way it is done in this country is terrible. I have health insurance and I have to pay a lot for prescriptions. They should not be making so much profits or any profit at all. And i remember that woman who was dumped at the shelter. How about recently the woman who was left bleeding to death on the floor with the nurses telling her to shut up. This was in LA. They have a lot of money and will never allow National Health Care. We should be ashamed.

3 parts to this movie: good investigative works followed by selective facts followed by complete spoofs. The danger here is some folks will take this movie at its face value- incomplete truth can be more detrimental than no knowledge at all.

I manage a doctor's office and I must say that Michael Moore was "right on target" with this film. He came at it from every angle, doctors angle, patients angle, insurance angle. Very well done. Every year, your insurance rates go up and they pay your doctor less. Where is the money going?? PROFITS!!!!! Go see this movie and wake up America.

I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, both for hospital companies and insurance companies. Let me assure you we (the American people) are being ripped off royally by every level of the healthcare system. The problem in America is that healthcare(a necessity) is considered a priviledge, not a right. There should be no "for profit" businesses in healthcare, because the profit motive runs counter to providing good healthcare for all. Insurance companies are only looking for the cream in patient types, and don't want to insure any group that looks a little risky. Moore has shown in this movie that universal healthcare works fine in other countries, its our corrupt leadership that keeps millions suffering just so business executives can buy those extra yachts.

I didn't expect flying colors from the critics because this isn't one of those "deep" movies. It's their job to view the films in a different light. I think it was appropriate for Bay to produce this movie. Optimus Prime sounding like the old Optimus Prime was great. However, I was expecting Starscream to have his high-pitched, raspy voice. Jazz was great too, but Bumblebee got most of the attention. I enjoyed it a lot and it's a must see. Definitely up there with Knocked Up and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and also Live Free or Die Hard.

The state of our Health Services is for the elite. That's what it has evolved into - one expensive mess.Hopefully, this movie at least sparks some meaningful debate.I liked the movie! There were no surprises for me. Yes, as a union member I have health insurance but they are also out for a profit - I'm like many and have a horror story while being completely insured.National Insurance Program should be brought into play here in good ole USA.

People are treated very poorly here, the concessions are the most expensive I've ever seen. The facilities are always filthy and all the employees are very depressed and lethargic. Watching a movie is uncomfortable because thev volume is always too high. The only time they ever do good business is on weekend matinees. I used to work there. I have seen employees sweep popcorn off the floor and put it back in the popper. In the back where they make nacho trays it is more important to management to recycle chips that have been dropped on the floor than to keep food sanitary. Cornchips are not expensive so someone tell me why we have to save the dirty ones? They are also rude and unfair to their employees.
