It is about time we knew what is really going on in this world. Movies like this reflect on our current problems in the "Bush era" of decent and lyies. Everyone should see this movie and other movies like this instead of mindless sequels.

Dr.Sicko gets "payola" from the legal drug dealers in their $700 suits to push their high price pills.The hospitals give the insurance companies a lower rate on the bill while they overcharge YOU if you have to pay out of pocket, and the insurance companies cherry pick their best of health subs. Is there a Dr.in the house? The health care system needs a major operation!

Fantastic movie! Sad but true -- our Democracy is run by Greed and Corruption. At our expense---health and many other social issues. Don't miss this movie -- you judge for yourselves.

Sicko will make you sick (from what you learn), and laugh till your sick (from some great set pieces). Whatever your political stripe, the message and info in this film will touch you. Unlike Farenheit 911, this film is not particularly partisan. It is a film of fundamental humanitarian values, that transcends petty political bickering. More importantly, this film bypasses most of the pedestrian info that you already know, making some solid, suprising, and useful points. Sicko is not quite as "entertaining" as Farenheit 911, but it is none-the-less rich and rewarding, with a healthy and refreshing dose of humor. An hour into this film, it becomes painfully obvious that the US could easily, in fact, provide full health care for all of it's citizens. A far cry from our health care ranking of 37 in the world. The undeniable case is made. It is curious that Moore did not touch upon how the pharmaceutical industry is the single largest advertiser in this country, reflecting in the prohibitively high cost of meds. But boy, you will never look down your nose at Cuba (or France) again. Sicko is REAL family values. Sicko is good for what ails you. An appointment worth making. Enjoy!

Moore could not do a better job giving a side-by-side comparison of the disgustingly profitable American healthcare system with other country's. Its one more reason to stand up for change in this country. It makes me want to stop begging for money from HMOs and start making them afraid of extinction. I admit I didn't know the appeal of universal healthcare and the horrific free market gouging that we Americans have to put up with. Shame on us for not demanding this sooner.
