I really liked this movie. Considering the context of the movie the violence seems plausible. What really impressed me about this movie was the guts and bravery of the character Sayra... (very believably played by Paulina Gaitan) - what a women :^)

A Magnificent tale of cultural and societal ideologies clashing in what becomes a heartbreaking tragedy. Personally, it was an all too true spotlight on what real religion should look like but unsurprisingly used by the "wrong" people for the "wrong" reasons. The story is not one of striking and supenseful surprizes as much of the story is predictable, but the main characters hold you in their search for meaning, belonging, and love. I would gladly see it again and will undoubtedly recommend it to any movie lover.

The only movie I have ever walked out on. Gratuitous violence masquerading as drama. Truly so gruesome that we were unable to stay and see the end of this film.

Outstanding chronicle of harrowing journey young people from Latin America are willing to endure for the hope of reaching the promise of new future in America.
