This movie is an excellent story that shows the other side of the coin. It gives people a quick glimpse of how the forgotten live and struggle. All intelligent,civilized human beings will consider this movie a master piece. If this movie is beyond your comprehension consider your self an unintelligent human being simply because you cannot comprehend that people do live like this. If you have not seen this movie you will love it.

I saw Slumdog back in January and I told some friends I liked the movie. They said isn't their poverty in it?? If all you want is puppy dogs go see Disney, this movie is for adults.

I totally enjoyed the movie except for a big hole (which I haven't seen addressed in any of the reviews) - the answer given to the final question concerning the three musketeers was WRONG. The real answer was D'Artegnon, not the answer Jamal gave. How come the TV host proclaimed Jamal's answer as the correct one?

Aleysa Brilliant movie! The early slum scenes are quite disturbing specially the extreme cruelty to kids! Some of the scenes were unnecessary and at best may have delivered some shock value. Still its a fantastic movie and the audience in the theater seemed completely into it until the very end! The acting by the kids and the main character Dev Patel is excellent! I enjoyed the movie tremendously even though I had to look away several times, but I'm hoping that's just me!

Mr. Boyle has mastered a near flawless film! The actors are all magnificent. Uplifting and sometimes hard to watch, it is ultimately a triumph of the spirit and there's a great surprise at the end too...Truly the best film i've seen in about two years. RUN don't walk.

I don't understand what was so great about this movie. It was disconnected. It didn'y makre sense. And the dancing scene at the end did not go with the story. I wish Bwjamin Button had won best picture

I haven't seen an excellent movie is so long. This movie was soooo amazing.the storyline had me on the edge of my ********** a MUST see and MUST own once it comes on dvd.

Waste of money. Extremely violent and gross and disgusting. The plot was poorly constructed, very unbelievable. Nothing new or interesting learned about India itself. The general public is being conned by the promotion of this film. Don't blame citizens of India disliking it.
