Kristen Stwearts horrid acting ruined what could have been a half-way decent movie.

Dead boring. The plot was predictable, which would be OK if the story had been interesting. I think the Twilight chick was picked in hopes that she would attract that audience. The Twilight audience is probably the group giving this load of rubbish 4 and 5 stars. She is a mediocre actress at best and unappealing to look at. The metaphors are great. I love all the characters, and the dark forrest was also great. Lovely rendition of tale told many different ways. Very dark, well worth watching. However, they missed the mark with Kristen Stweart as Snow White. Her actting was ok but she is not the Fairest in the Land and Ms Theron shined brighter then Kristen even in death. Cate Blancett, Emma Watcon, Christina Ricci, Liy Tyler all would have been much much prettier then Kristen Stewart. Even made up as the Queen she wasn't very pretty and during the fight

I resisted this derivative mishmash of classic fairytale and modern epic fantasy for as long as I could, but ultimately it swept me up into its geeky but manly embrace and carried me away on a white charger. Full Review

It is an absolute wonder to watch and creates a warrior princess for the ages. But what this revisionist fairy tale does not give us is a passionate love - its kisses are as chaste as the snow is white. Full Review

Never quite delivers on its promise -- a dark retelling of the fairy tale in which women hold the true power, good and evil -- but it certainly is an attractive misfire. Full Review
