With special effects so convincing you don't even think about them, a head-case hero and a three-dimensional villain who is his equal, socko Spider-Man 2 has something for everyone. show more

A lot of talent to lavish on a single movie, but the result is uncommonly smart for the genre, and not just smart but tremendously enjoyable. show more

I also like that when Our Hero starts swinging from skyscrapers, he's not just emulating Tarzan, but is working out the Newtonian physics of action and reaction. show more

It's refreshing to witness a superhero with doubts. Maguire and Dunst again display the depth of talent they bring to these roles by injecting such everydayness into larger-than-life characters. show more

It's a real movie, full-blooded and smart, with qualities even for those who have no idea who Stan Lee is. It's a superhero movie for people who don't go to superhero movies, and for those who do, it's the one they've been yearning for. show more

Fantastic news, true believers: Spider-Man 2 is smarter, hipper, faster, funnier, and flat-out more electrifying than the original, swinging to new summer-movie heights as the greatest comic-book adaptation yet made. show more

Even better than before! The villain showed great hate and the hero had to go through more obstacles to complete victory! Good suspense, comedy, romance, and action! Wonderful!

I say that some movie sequals stink but this is not one of them. It was better than the first one to my suprise. Great action and special affects, good humor, The love story of Peter and Mary are well done, and I love how it goes like Starwars episode 5 That it got a bit more darker than the first one and Deeps down even more how Peter is going to live like a super hero like in Superman 2. The actor who played Doc. Oak. stole the show. The actor is not like Defo but the actor did great. This movie is the best of the Spiderman saga. I give it a 5 out of 5.

This is my favorite movie of all time, which is odd to say since its a superhero film, but it does everyting so well. Great Action and special effects, awesome comic relief, and even manages to convey an emotional love story to give the film more humanity and meaning. Powerful, engaging, and smart, this is the best superhero film ever, and one of the best overall films out there. If your intelligent you'll at least least appreciate it, and if your stupid and looking for a movie soley for some brainless fighting and action, then of course you'll be disappointed, because this film offers everything, and doesnt just focus on one aspect.
