I'm 49, see a LOT of movies, and am pretty hard to please. This is a good, entertaining, well-acted film. Plot has been done before, but so have most of them. If you're after blinding originality, forget it. If you're looking for a solid flick to watch while you gnosh popcorn, here you go.

Altho Russell is a great actor, he should do himself a favor and lose some weight. He does "look like a fat dumpling in a wig in this movie" as our film reviewer said.

I must be missing something. I thought the plot was slow also and transparent. Although the acting was good, the storyline could have been more well-developed.

Crowe does an outstanding job in this film and is very believable. Ben Affleck had me on his side the whole time until the true plot unfolded. Excellent movie with a mind-bending twist. Just when you think you have it figured out, everything goes south. Go see it.

It was okay, nice twist at the end though.

I don't know how anybody could fall asleep during this movie, but I guess that everybody has different tastes. It was a good mix of action, drama, many surprises, and several laughs. Everybody in the theater seemed to enjoy it. Russell Crowe gave a great performance and is very easy on the eyes. Also, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, and the rest of the cast did a fine job as well. I'd recommend this movie to almost anybody!

my husband and I saw this movie (not having slept through it...) and found very well done and provacative. There were moments of suspense and a surprise ending . I reccomend it for a fun night of viewing. It also sets the scene for further discussion about the plot and government and warfare.JMiller

I cannot believe that intelligent people gave this movie good reviews, the plot was slow and very predictable. The acting was boring to say the least, the only entertaining part of this movie was the chorus of various people snoring throughout the theater. I had to walk out and request a refund. the last time I walked out on a movie was the Batman and Robin movie.

This movie is fair. Don't believe the people who say it was awesome. Apparently, they never go to the movies. It's very, very slow. My husband slept through thirty minutes and then couldn't figure out what it was about. You can save your hard earned dollars and see this at the video store for a buck.
