this movie was great for me but for my kids i dont think so .some stuff was okay for my eleven and six year old but some other stuff was so gross i didnt even want to watch it i was pretty disgusted,but it was hilarious it okay for kids but its best for adults.

This movie was really funny, I thought it would have been the most retarded thing ever. Im not that big of a fan of Will Ferell but he actually made me watch the movie. There are some innappropriate scenes for you parents, like ferell rubbing his balls on the drum set, the f word a lot, and lots of sexual intentions. It is a good movie for you adults.

If you enjoy the whole family, mom dad, and the kids and it seems everyone else, say the "F" word repeatedly, on and on, on and on, on and on, on and one, ad nauseum, then this movie is for you. A five year old could write a better story line. This movie was pitiful. I once had a friend show me a napkin covered with all kinds of scribbles and numbers. He explained to me that last night it was a brilliant plan to make a million dollars. He and a few drinking buddies had come up with it last night. Sober and in the light of day, all the information on the napkin meant nothing to him. Will Ferrell has gone too far with this one, it is PURE CRAP. The culprits that wrote this one (as I recall Ferrell was one of the authors, I could be wrong about that tho) must have been drunk out of thier mind when they came up with tihs one. I doubt if I will ever see another movie with Ferrel in it. Doesn't anyone in Hollywood have tha ability to write a decent story. I guess not, they just keep getting worse and worse. Save your money on this one, don't even rent it.

I can't believe all the negative reviews for this movie. You will laugh at every scene, funnest movie this year. Those who didnt like it are f*ucking morons

I am a big Will Ferrell fan but was very disapointed in this movie. Enough of the penis and masturbation jokes. It's getting old. Can't Hollywood hire a few talented comedy writers to write something that actually takes a little effort?

Too,too funny!! I almost missed this gem because of the so-so reviews. Well, u r stooped!! Will Ferrell and John C Reilly are brothers from a different mother...and father. Mary Steenburgen is perfect as his mom. I plan to get at least 2 DVDs of this film. One is for my mom who is still raising a 40+ son or two.

Could not stop laughing the entire time... Loved the interview scenes and the ending topped it off. Only flaw is when Will Ferrell is in highschool the year would have been 1986 or so. His brother sang Ice ice baby which didn't drop til like 1990. I know I know.... But I've already seen in three times. Still I recomend it.
