this movie is a great movie maybe a used plot.but over all a great movie that reaches out to children and also teenagers.

The first thing I thought was 'oh god, not another one of THESE movies.' However, coming out of the theater, I kind of wanted to see it again. No one promised Oscar worthy plots/performances here, so if you're disappointed, it's no one's fault but your own. For what it is, Stomp the Yard was a good movie, with points that aren't so mechanical as some make it out to be. There's a lesson learned, and a point to be made about being your own person and learning when to step up, as well as down. Go see it, there's no reason not to.

I think this movie is so good and teenagers and preteens would love it. Adults would to but it would be more exciting for younger kids.

I am assuming that most of the critics are old and white. Most of them can not relate to African American culture because they probably have never been around that many African American's, so I take their harsh criticism with a grain of salt. F them. Anyway, the movie was fantastic. Everyone did a great job from the Actors, the producers, the directors, choreographers, and everyone who helped with the film. I will definitely buy the DVD. I am so glad that African American's are finally getting number one movies at the box office. We do not need to conform to White America's culture. They need to get with the program and conform to our way. All of the critics and haters need to "take the shackles off" of their minds and live a little. I am tired of living by your rules. The movie is entertaining and that is all that matters. All movies don't have to be super deep with complicated plot lines, and drama. I did not go to the movies to see a drama when I saw this picture. I went to be entertained, and I was definitely entertained.

This movie was the best movie that I'veseen all year. The dancincing was great.It is nice to see an African Americanmovie that can get it's point across without using profanity or the N-WORDa thousand times.

EVER NOTICE HOW THE MOVIES CRITICS LOVE AVERAGE PEOPLE HATE AND THE MOVIES AVERAGE PEOPLE LOVE THE CRITICS HATE? WHY IS THAT? MOST OF THE USER REVIEWS ARE BY PEOPLE THE CAN'T EVEN SPELL. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?

I loved it!!! I saw it twice!! Columbus Short is sooo fine!! Can't wait for the dvd to come out.
