I went to the Atlanta premiere of this movie and I can honestly say that it is a must see. The choreography is off the chain. The plot is moving, funny, and inspirational. You will laugh, cry, and be dancin in your seats! So go see it this weekend!

As for the critics who don't get it??? let me guess??? you are white and your idea of dancing is waving light sticks as you move your two left feet!!

Please do not listen to anyone that says this movie is bad. I loved this movie. The plot is good and the dancing is incredible. I honestly did not want the movie to end because I was so deeply into it. If you are a person that does not enjoy dancing our does not have an open mind, do not waste your money. If you want to watch a good movie that is enjoyable from the beginning with lots of sick moves in it, please go see this. It is predictable, but come on, you can tell how the movie is going to go by the dang movie trailer!!! 5 stars for STOMP!!!

I enjoyed the movie.....It took me back to my undergrad days. I did not attend a HBCU, but did go to a lot of step shows back in the day...It was a walk down memory lane.... with a lot better looking guys!

It's true that there isn't much of a plot to this movie, but the stepping, and the sexy boys (if that excites you) is worth the price of a ticket. Taking it back to the stepping, they definitely did their thing in this movie.

This movie is good. there is a plot to it people, stop bein slow. DJ's brother gets killed so he trys to start fresh with some family in atlanta. his uncle or whoever that was sets him up with a university. so he goes. there he learns how to empower himself while facing trials and tribulations. Hot move cast includes Chris Brown, Columbus Short, Ne-Yo, Meagon Good, and other talented actors worth money and time, check it out!

I predict the Stomp the Yard will be the hottest movie of the year. I don't know why my baby Chris Brown gotta be the one that die, but its all gravy. I am still gonna go see it about 5 times. So Trill! Holla Shanitra
