Strangers In Good Company synopsis
When their bus has engine problems, eight aged women -- including Mohawk tribeswoman Alice (Alice Diabo), feminist author Mary (Mary Meigs), jazz vocalist Michelle (Michelle Sweeney) and Catherine (Catherine Roche), a Catholic nun -- are marooned in the wilderness. They find shelter in an abandoned house, where they must wait for days before help reaches them. They begin to pass the time by sharing their experiences and philosophies. Soon, their fears subside as the women become inseparable.
